The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Heritage Middle School October 9 -13!!

Students can shop in person at the Fair throughout the school days that week in the Media Center; in addition, the Fair will be open before and after the Choir and Orchestra concerts on October 10 and 12 . If you missed it at the open house, the Heritage commons received a spirit makeover this summer! New decals donated by the PTO to replace the old window paint. We hope it it spreads Panther Pride to the students this football Friday. Go Darby! Beat Davidson!! 🖤 🩵 🖤 🩵

The first PTO meeting of the year will be tomorrow, August 30 at 5 pm in the meeting center. Everyone is welcome. Topic of discussion include upcoming event for the school year.

Students had a great time celebrating their first week back to school with a lunchtime cookout. Thank you to everyone who donated and volunteered, and to the Heritage staff manning the grills and taking their turns in the dunk tank!

Tomorrow’s back to school cookout includes hot dogs, chips and water for all students. Kona Ice will also be available for purchase, cash or credit.

We are only halfway to our goal of a bottle of water for every student for the back to school cookout Friday. Physical donations can be brought to the school by Friday morning or monetary donations can be made via PayPal.

We are also looking for volunteers to help with 5th and 6th period lunches. It will be a great time enjoying the first Friday with the students.
