Join us for an evening art opening from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 17, UHD's O'Kane Gallery. Houston artist, Tim Glover will showcase his new work in an exhibit titled, "Tim Glover: Light House". The exhibit features Glover's small and large steel sculptures that integrate lighting elements.
The artist's public commissions include Healing Nature, a large-scale sculpture on the UH campus, Houston Metro Rail Stations at Preston St. and Main St. Square, and the Children's Museum Houston.

On Saturday, Oct. 12, at UHD’s 50th Anniversary Gala, Marilyn Davies will receive our Excellence in Leadership Award. A native Houstonian, Ms. Davies is CEO of Bailey Banks Seismic, L.P. and serves on the UHD President’s Leadership Council. In 2017, the College of Business received a historic $10 million endowment from her, and in recognition of the gift, the College is now the Marilyn Davies College of Business UHD.
The 2024 Corporate Partner of the Year Award will go to Voya for its outstanding support and engagement with UHD. Their involvement and unwavering commitment include serving on the University Alumni Council and sponsoring events like the Gala and many others.
