WPG concluded 40 years of service with the end of its 2021-22 year this Friday, June 10th. Our Inaugural Summer Social/Scholarship Gala was one for the record books! Our outgoing President, Jamila Carroll received a proclamation from the Mayor on behalf of WPG and received a beautiful plaque for her service to WPG! Our sponsors and donors received their due recognition and outgoing Board members were presented with small tokens of appreciation. LaKeitha Jones and Yee-Bien Chuah were recognized as Board Members of the Year for the unwavering support of WPG and President Carroll during the last year.
Former City Council Member, Amanda Edwards brought the house down with her amazing speech on service and the Honorable Judge Jim Kovach performed the swearing-in of the incoming Board. We had an amazing end of the year celebration and hope you enjoy some of the pics from the event!
