WellStone is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay; and there is a discounted/sliding fee schedule available based on family size and income.

Alabama's care system begins a key transition this summer after selection by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and SAMHSA. This is big news! 🚨
WellStone in Madison County, Alabama-Government is excited to join AltaPointe Health in Mobile County, Alabama as one of the first two community mental health centers in the state to implement the new, transformative CCBHC model of care and become certified.

We are proud to have already implemented key aspects of this model—and look forward to the ways that this will allow our services to expand and grow to individuals across our communities in the coming years.
The CCBHC model of care implements—among other things—access to 24/7 crisis care, access to services regardless of ability to pay, and strengthened care coordination with hospitals, law enforcement, and schools. 👏
