The Matrix Gym The Matrix became a reality on March 31, 2008 after two years of planning and construction. This 40,000+ square foot facility was born out of the necessity for a state-of-the-art tumbling, trampoline and cheerleading facility in the North Alabama region. With one family's vision and the numerous talents and determination of many others, The Matrix is now the only facility in North Alabama offering so many programs under one roof! Students and parents alike will find not only a place to train and lead a physically fit lifestyle, they will find a staff that cares about them and their family. The entire staff focuses on making sure that every child is reaching their full potential, while practicing teaching progressive skills through safe and proven training methods.

No Adult Open Gym tonight Tuesday 8/29

Reminder, the new session of classes is not starting today as planned.
No regular classes.

Dear Matrix Families,

We are deeply saddened to inform you that as of Monday, August 28, the Matrix will no longer be operating regularly scheduled classes. This includes enrollment of all levels and all ages, including Whiz Kids classes.

All scheduled birthday parties will be honored and other time slots available during those dates are still available.

Open Gym will be scheduled as often as possible during the week after school starting the week of Sept 4 (closed M 9/4) and will be communicated via social media and our website and as soon as a schedule is established, it will be on the event calendar.

Whiz Kids Open Gym schedule: M through F 9:15am and 12:15pm

Saturday Open Gyms will remain as scheduled: Whiz Kids 8:30-9:30am and Ages 6+ 10:00-11:30am

Adult Open Gyms will be TBD

We will continue to schedule clinics, camps, etc. as we can.

The 24-hour access fitness center will remain open.

East Coast Karate remains open with their regular schedule.

For those who had their classes canceled this past Tuesday evening, I will go one by one and refund a prorated amount of your tuition. Please allow me time to be able to do that.

We would like to thank the staff who coached this week and many volunteer coaches who answered the call and took their time to make sure your child had a class to come to- Tavares, Miss. Vicky, Vicky B, Coach Andrea, Coach Jerome, Coach Jasmine, Coach Cashawn, Coach Jay, Coach Lauren, Coach Kaitlyn, Coach Joel, Coach Jason, Coach Lisa, Coach Les, Coach Iz, Coach Gayli, Coach LJ, Coach Carolyn, & Coach Michelle. Thank you to these people who put your children first.

The Matrix has served children and families of the Huntsville area for over 15 years, and our hope is that it might be able to continue under new leadership. However, due to a shortage of personnel, we are unable to service the families of the Matrix during this transition period. We are truly sickened to so abruptly shut down our gymnastics program as we know it.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and disappointment this has caused. We ask for your understanding and patience as we work through this time. While this was not the outcome we had hoped for, we feel it is the best option under the current circumstances. Thank you for everyone's patronage and support of the Matrix.

We wish every child and every family the very best and we hope to see you here for programs.

The Matrix Gymnastics Team is running a shoe collection drive! Donate your new and gently used shoes! 👞👟👠

If the shoes are still wearable with no holes, tears, or mold, WE WANT THEM! Proceeds will go toward our competitive gymnastics teams, AND you will be helping stimulate micro-enterprises in emerging countries around the world. Shoes donated will be going to Haiti!
