As the words are spoken, the music played, and the candles extinquished, we are invited to contemplate and reflect on Christ's death and resurrection and it's meaning for us.

We made it to Nome!

This morning a mission team, including our Minister to Median Adults, Holly Canup, begins their journey to Nome, Alaska to be part of the Iditarod Outreach! We are excited for them and for the ways God will make himself known in these days!

SYMBIS+ stands for Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts - Plus. This is a 4 week study is for the nearly or already married who want to strengthen their bond. There is a $35 fee for this class that includes a comprehensive online assessment. The fee will be refunded at the end of the study if at least 1 member of the couple attends all 4 sessions. If you were unable to secure a reservation, remember our Special Presentation of 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 Wednesday night at 6:30.
The full dress rehearsal is open to the public, with no reservations required.
We'll be there, hope you will be too!

Thanks to so many women and men who spent hours and hours at 600 Governors Drive this week, The Living Christmas Tree is up and decorated!

And remember, we begin building our Tree! Bring your (labeled) tools and we'll see you after the 10:30 service!

Tomorrow is Hanging of the Green at FBC and it's also the first Sunday of Advent. Each Sunday until Christmas Eve we light a candle on our Advent Wreath. The first candle we light is the HOPE candle and will be lit in both services. The HOPE candle is also known as the “Prophecy Candle” in remembrance of Isaiah and the prophets who foretold the birth of Christ. The Prophecy Candle represents the HOPE and expectation we have in anticipation of the coming Messiah.
Thomorrow will be a beautiful and meaningful time and we'd be honored if you choose to join us at our 8:05am or 10:30am Worship.
