From July 15-20, they will have racks and racks of children's and junior's clothes set up - all tax free all week. If told you that tomorrow, July 13, we’re giving away 1000+ backpacks with school supplies, 40,000 pounds of groceries, a bunch of door prizes, and free information about community resources to insure the success of your children and families during the upcoming school year, would you show up?
Well, here’s your chance! Community Awareness for Youth (CAFY) will be held tomorrow from 9am- 12 pm at Calhoun Community College at 102 Wynn Drive. Even if you can’t come, this is worth sharing!

Returning Students 🔁
All parents/guardians who have not completed their child's returning student registration for the 2024-2025 school year may do so by visiting the Enrollment page on the HCS website (link below) and selecting "Returning Student Registration." You will need to provide 2 current documents for proof of residency.
New Students 🆕
All parents/guardians who need to complete their child's new student registration may do so by visiting our district website and clicking the "Enrollment" button. Under enrollment, choose "New Student Registration". You will need 2 proof of residence, proof of age, immunization record (blue card), parent ID, and custody information (as appropriate)

Our Story
Community Awareness for Youth (CAFY) is an annual event for students ages 12-18 of Madison County-making them aware of the following Four Pillars of Success: Health, Education, Careers & Finances. We help provide links/networking opportunities for the students to make connections with local organizations that offer youth services, mentors, guidance, and assistance (ie. Universities, Scouts, YMCA, local businesses, school systems,...)
The Huntsville Police Department, Team C.A.F.Y., the cities of Huntsville, Madison and Madison County, its volunteers and sponsors all work hard together to provide this FREE, Fun-filled, Exciting, Entertaining and Effective Event each year!
CAFY Events are usually held on the last Saturday before school begins from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at Calhoun Community College, 102 Wynn Drive NW, Huntsville.
CAFY was founded in 2011 by Dr. Harry Hobbs, Former Communications Relations Officer from Huntsville Police Department.
