The day, celebrated yearly on June 12, recognizes, honors and remembers the signing of the Womenโs Armed Services Integration Act (pub.L. 80โ625, 62 Stat. 356), allowing women the right to permanently serve in the regular armed forces.

How the Process Works:
ยท Enroll as a VCS Participant.
ยท A VCS representative contacts you within 1-2 business days via phone, text, or email.
ยท The VCS Representative connects you with the appropriate VSO.
ยท The VCS Representative reconnects with you to ensure your expectations are met.
We have seasoned Veterans and highly qualified professionals with years of experience in gathering resources from trusted Veteran Service Organizations and educating our community on ways to place them in the driverโs seat of their next mission.

Our Story
Still Serving Veterans, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, established in Huntsville, Alabama in 2006, provides Veterans and their families, transitioning military, and members of the Guard and Reserves with employment services including career planning, job search strategy development, resume preparation, and interview preparations. Additionally, we work closely with local Veteran-friendly employers to fill positions with well-qualified, screened Veterans. All services are provided at no charge to either client or employer.
In addition, through its Huntsville office, Still Serving Veterans provides VA Benefits and Services counseling to active duty, Veterans, and members of the Guard and Reserves, their family members and survivors.
Still Serving Veterans received the 2015 Nonprofit of the Year award from the Huntsville/Madison Chamber of Commerce, the 2015 Nonprofit of the Year from the Madison Chamber of Commerce, and the Better Business Bureau's Torch award for ethics. Additionally, Still Serving Veterans is a recipient of the Call of Duty Endowment's (CODE) coveted Seal of Distinction. Still Serving Veterans is a trusted advocate for Veterans and their families and participates on the Governor's Alabama Veterans Network Executive Commission (AlaVetNet), the VA's new My VA, and several regional coalitions of Veterans organizations.
