We are excited to share this amazing upcoming opportunity with you! Anna Mills, a English professor and AI researcher will be joining us via Zoom on November 7th to discuss the use of AI in college writing. Registration is required; email [email protected] to RSVP.
During this virtual workshop, you will hear an introduction to generative AI, discuss practical applications of generative AI for your context, and share your insights with the larger group.
Discussions will be based on “Assigning AI: Seven Approaches for Students, with Prompts” by Drs. Ethan and Lilach Mollick. The reading will be shared during the workshop and live collaborative annotation will be encouraged.

Christie from the Hypothesis team will discuss multimodal learning as a core principle of UDL, and how using YouTube video annotation and multimedia annotations can help incorporate multimodal learning in your course. She’ll demonstrate how to set up YouTube video annotation assignments with Hypothesis and how to add multimedia and tags to annotations.
