Register to vote by October 7 by visiting IndianaVoters.IN.gov/ That's also where you can update your address and request an absentee ballot before October 24.
When is the general election? Here's when the presidential election takes place this year. If you're planning to vote in the general election in November, make sure you are registered to vote before the deadline.
As we navigate changes in the presidential race, the Marion County Election Board remains committed to their work: ensuring voters can safely and securely cast a ballot for their candidate of choice in every election.
When a candidate officially ends their campaign for office, election administrators will follow the process for removing and/or replacing that individual's name as state and federal law requires, and in accordance with necessary deadlines.
The Election Board will work closely with federal and state partners to make sure that voters receive accurate ballots, populated with candidates who have qualified to run for office in the November 5, 2024 election.
As Marion County's chief elections officer, Clerk Kate Sweeney Bell is hosting an event to celebrate the passage of the Voting Rights Act, signed into law by President Johnson in 1965.
The public is invited to join the Marion County Clerk's Office at the Indianapolis Artsgarden on Tuesday, Aug. 6, from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Congratulations to all the people who became U.S. citizens today at the naturalization ceremony at Indiana War Memorials.
The Marion County Clerk's Office helped some 70 of them register to vote. You can check your status or apply for a new registration at IndianaVoters.IN.gov/
MCEB will reopen on Thursday, June 20, at 8:00 a.m. Candidates can file to run for school board until noon.
MCEB will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.
