It felt so good to be back in an “I” state even if it wasn’t Iowa! So happy to be surrounded by such good people in Indiana, my home away from home for the year. Indiana FFA has some bright stars, powerful leaders, and pretty great dancers. I am beyond thankful for those I got to meet who showed me such kindness and taught me a few lessons of friendship and fun along the way!!!

Mississippi FFA, thank you for taking such good care of me and giving me a nice introduction to life in the south. Y’all really know how to throw down and put on a stellar convention!

P.S. thank you for finally letting me go to Waffle House. My dreams have came true.

I may have melted in the Arizona heat, but I’d do that any day for all the amazing Arizona FFA members that I had the privilege to interact with. To say I was met with kindness is an understatement; y’all brought me in and treated me like family, whether it was dancing the night away, sharing some meals, or watching the outstanding sessions. Thank you for the friendship, laughs, jelly cats, and journeying with me beyond the horizon!

P.S. swipe to the end to see my new jelly cat friends!!!

I may have never gotten to experience FFA camp back in high school, but I sure am glad I got to experience it at Tennessee FFA Camp.

I had a great week of sports, sessions, workshops, and creating friendships. Tennessee FFA has some great members that know how to include everyone and have a fun time with any activity. Thanks for helping me be an expert camper and creating friendships that I hope will last a lifetime!!!

With a few days free from my many travels around the country, I had the chance to visit some FFA chapters in Indiana. I also had the opportunity to attend a Make48 contest and watch Indiana FFA members hard at work trying out a new experience!

A big thanks to TRI-WEST FFA, Tipton FFA, Decatur Central FFA, South Putnam FFA, and North Putnam FFA for hosting me and allowing me to connect with your members. I had a blast facilitating to students, giving my keynote, but most importantly having great conversations about why members love to be in FFA. Thanks for showing me all the amazing experiences y’all are providing to your members!

BASF IN NORTH CAROLINA!!!

and I, along with state officers, got to visit BASF, and we had an outstanding time. We got to share our FFA experiences and hear more about the values of BASF in both workplace culture and innovation.

While we were there, department heads competed in a Shark Tank style competition where we voted on the best pitch for an agriculturally related project. We also got to meet with some BASF interns and discuss new trends in the workforce. Thanks for a great time and some cool swag!!!

As a great lyricist, named Noah Kahan, once said, “I wanna go to Maine.”

A state I will never forget and an experience I will truly cherish. While I didn’t get to see a moose, I got to learn some cooking skills, help out at the humane society with some cute kittens, go crazy at the trampoline park, and meet quite a few amazing Maine FFA members! Thank you for your kindness and patience as I navigated a new state and gained some knowledge on the importance of the potato in Maine.

Arkansas FFA what an unforgettable convention! Whether it was workshops, sessions, or at the concert y’all showed up big and represented your association with such enthusiasm.

I appreciated getting to share such a special time with y’all, especially those of you I got to meet personally. What more can I say than thank you and WOO PIG!!!

Cooking up some pizzas with at Domino’s!🍕🧑🏼‍🍳

Emily and I had the opportunity to share the experiences of our members with Domino’s as they look to continue their support for the National FFA Organization! Many people might not think of Domino’s in relation to agriculture, but that is far from the truth. Not only do they have their own supply chain, but they produce about 2.5 billion pounds of food each year!

We also had the opportunity to partake in the Pizza Prep School, where we learned how to make the perfect pizza. Big thanks to Brenda and her team for teaching us the essentials of pizza making. Such an exciting opportunity!

Thank you Domino's Pizza for meeting with us to discuss how our partnership can progress in the future. I cannot wait to see where your support leads next!

What a whirlwind of a visit in the classroom and at a creamery📚🍦

Emily and I had the opportunity to visit Glencliff FFA, a chapter in Nashville, Tennessee. Thanks to Merck Animal Health, Glencliff FFA has been receiving resources to help improve student experiences and education within their agricultural academy. At this school, over 20 languages are spoken, creating a whole host of barriers for students. But Glencliff FFA, and their advisor Mr. Cardwell, have been hard at work to help every student feel they like belong in the organization. In fact, for the first time, all 18 students that went to Tennessee FFA State Convention were able to wear their own jacket.

We also had the opportunity to visit Nash Family Creamery where we had some delicious food and got a tour of the facilities. Hearing the story of Mr. Nash and his family’s move to Tennessee from California was inspiring as he hopes to build a better community through his agricultural pursuits. Mr. Nash partners with Merck Animal Health to ensure the safety of his animals. Thanks to Glencliff FFA and the Nash Family Creamery for letting us visit, as well as Merck Animal Health for planning these adventures!!!!

Convention in the Silver State!!! 🫶🏻

My time with Nevada FFA flew by, but I am so thankful for the amazing people I got to meet. Whether it was during session, at the service project, or experiencing the hypnotist, I know we all had a blast making memories to cherish. I appreciate y’all for accepting me into your association like family.

Last week, I had the opportunity to travel to California and meet with members where they call home! These were amazing chapter visits where we got to learn about FFA and leadership, build community, and have some fun!

Thank you to Elk Grove FFA, Bradshaw Christian FFA, Gustine FFA, Madera FFA, Saucelito FFA, and Tulare FFA!!! Y’all made me feel right at home!!!

Ohana. For those who may not know this word, it means family. This one word completely sums up my experience at Hawai'i’s State Convention. It was my first convention, and I won’t lie, I was a little nervous. However, those nerves quickly faded as I was welcomed with open arms into a big family willing to do anything for one another!

Thank you to the state staff and advisors, state officer team, and all of the members that attended. I had an amazing time on my first visit! Mahalo and A Hui Hou - until we meet again!

The latter half of my National FFA Week was spent in the state of Virginia! What an experience! I got to hang out with some cool members, advisors, state officers, and state staff, as well as experience some of our FFA history dating back to the beginning of the organization. Thanks Virginia FFA for making this experience an unforgettable one!!!

Wrapped up FFA Week in Kentucky! So thankful for the local chapters and their amazing members, the agricultural educators, Kentucky State Staff and State Officers, and the community members I met along the way!

We had a great few days of workshops, keynotes, and spending time getting to know one another. I’m so grateful for those that I met and the amazing hospitality y’all at Kentucky FFA Association showed me. We truly embraced the idea of community and made this FFA Week one to remember!!!

‼️Take me back to the land of 10,000 lakes and 10,000 hotdishes!‼️

The Minnesota FFA Convention was simply unforgettable! We made sure to make it clear that it’s pop not soda and the game is duck, duck, grey duck…🦆

I’m so grateful I got to cross the Mississippi and see what Minnesota FFA is all about!
