If you work near lead in your job or hobby (like construction, remodeling, painting, refinishing antiques, making ammunition, and soldering) you might accidentally bring home lead dust.
Here are a few tips to protect your family:
1️⃣ Never wear shoes in your home that you wore at work.
2️⃣ If you can't shower at work, shower as soon as you get home.
3️⃣ Clean your vehicle and your home often.

📣. SYGA@IPS Scholars don’t forget on Tuesday of College GO Week, our counselors will be taking you all to the College Fair to learn about and checkout colleges that you might be interested in attending after graduating from high school. Make sure that you get to school on time so you don’t miss out on this great opportunity! Then after doing your research, make sure that you apply this week to those colleges you are interested in, while participating colleges are waiving their application fees! This will save you a lot of 💵💵👍👍
Last week, the Indiana Commission for Higher Education announced the institutions participating in College Application Week 2024 as part of the Indiana College GO! Week. Participating institutions have agreed to waive their application fees this week to help eliminate barriers during the college application process. Additionally, over 67,000 high school seniors will receive letters during College Application Week indicating they have been pre-admitted to at least 3 and up to 39 Indiana campuses. We thank Governor Eric Holcomb for his support during this campaign and the proclamation of September 23-27 as Indiana College GO! Week.
