Sponsor a child, change a world! childcareministries.org
We love partnering with Neddy and Wunders on the mission of keeping our girls in school and reducing their vulnerability to trafficking!
He is Risen!!! Happy Easter✝️🤍
At Campo Grande, the "Safe Child, Happy Future" project is committed to providing a safe haven for children and teenagers living in risky situations and impoverished communities. By teaching them Christian principles, instilling strong values, and offering quality education, we empower them to overcome challenges and embrace a brighter tomorrow!
In Haiti ICCM is strategically doing:
• WHAT we can / WHERE we can
• WHEN we can / with WHOM we can
By the power of God, we are able to continue to do MUCH! We have strategic structures in place to help mitigate financial and the kidnapping risks that have been connected with money. We hold funds in central office as they’re given and disburse them when and in the amounts that are strategically safe to do so.
At the moment, we are deeply grieved that reaching our 400+ sponsored children in PAP is temporarily impossible. We remain prayerful and have not given up hope of finding yet another, creative solution.
We are actively increasing resourcing and sponsorship in our safer, still effective programs – assisting them to become haven locations as families have opportunity to flee PAP.

"BUSOMA (Burundi soy, sorghum, and maize) was developed to address severe malnutrition in the country. Through the ICCM Burundi Food Fund, grains prepared at our BUSOMA mill are reaching rural Burundians without mobility access." -Amber Jennings, ICCM U.S. Team. "Haiti continues to face extreme unrest. This has impacted the
children significantly. Headaches and stomach aches are very
common. Some of it happens because of hunger. Some is
caused by the intense stress caused by the current situation in
the country." -Olivia Paul, Haiti ICCM Regional Coordinator.

In the upcoming months, our ministry partner, Wunders, will have the opportunity to distribute more than 900 kits in Malawi, Burundi, and Rwanda! During each training session, girls learn about important health information, their new Wunders kit, and how to stay safe from human trafficking through Wunders' custom curriculum.
We need your help to reach this goal!
Wunders has nearly 70% of the funding needed for these kits. We are helping them to raise the remaining $9,850 to ensure they can distribute as many kits as possible.
Would you consider coming alongside this special distribution opportunity?

Putting down the pencils to pick up the planters! These students from Cambodia have been learning gardening hands-on, and seem to be having a pretty fun time while doing it too.
Newly sponsored this week is Desire from Burundi! He is 13 years old, enjoys playing soccer, and his father is a pastor!
Newly sponsored this week is Emelyne from Rwanda! She is four years old, enjoys jumping rope, and has one brother. She is a part of the connect community in Kaburiro that partners with the Journey Church in Sherwood, Oregon!
Cows are making a difference in Haiti! A cow has been donated to each Free Methodist Mission conference in the country. The aim is to promote animal husbandry among people living in rural areas. The hope is that the cow will reproduce, and eventually in years to come there will be oxen. This will help school-children in particular. After just a few months, the southern conference cow has given birth to a calf. We pray this wonderful initiative will continue to support the most vulnerable. ICCM is doing what we can, where we can, when we can, and how we can in Haiti. Pray for the children of Haiti, for the ICCM Haiti team, and others serving the children.
Newly sponsored this week is Van from Cambodia! He is 10 years old, has one brother, and attends the House of Joy Holistic Child Development Center.
These kids are studying hard in Campo Grande, Brazil! Like many children, they lost some significant study time during the Covid pandemic. Our program helps to give them a safe and focused environment where they can work to catch up.
Newly sponsored this week is Sethi from Cambodia! She is 11 years old, attends the House of Joy Holistic Child Development Center, and enjoys jumping rope.
Newly sponsored this week is Fetiya from Ethiopia! She is 14 years old and attends the Jimma school. We are so glad that she became sponsored, as it can be difficult to find sponsors for older children. Hooray! 🥳
Time for the water park! Remember going on field trips as a child? We want children in our program to experience those fun adventures too, wherever and whenever possible. A group from the House of Peace in Cambodia recently ventured out to a water park, and it looks like they had a blast! 🌊
Newly sponsored this week is four year old Rose-Malaicha from Haiti! She has one brother, enjoys jumping rope, and both of her parents work as farmers in their community.

What is ICCM?
International Child Care Ministries dreams of a world where every child is loved, safe and developing their God-given potential.
Child sponsorship provides education and/or school supplies, nutrition, activities for all aspects of a child’s development, and most importantly, hope.
For the most vulnerable, sponsorship provides protection from traffickers.
For girls, it often delays their being forced into an early marriage.
