Drink Chips.
An absolute staple to my own childhood, and an instant flash back to bartending my way through college. Anytime I would go over to my grandparents house, my grandma would have a hidden crown royal bag in the back of her closet full of all different drink chips and tokens. They were from all different bars and country clubs in the Buffalo area; some plastic, others wood. The chips were all different sizes, textures, and colors. Later on when I bartended at the Knights of Columbus it was a nightly occurrence when someone wanted to buy the bar a round, or purchase an old friends drink. A drink chip was placed in front of that person as a little token (literally), of that friendship, or a kind offering to make someones day.

I couldn’t help but to bring the drink chip back, and just in time for the Holidays, so we can all send a friend a little bit of cheer.

Available in store to purchase, and good for any coffee or tea drink we have. ✨☕️

To help take the chaos out of your thanksgiving, is making some seriously delicious pies for the holiday season! She specializes in vegan and gluten free treats (as many of you know, I don’t endorse or even mention a single thing unless it’s been in my mouth and deemed delicious) which is a great perk if you have any family members with dietary restrictions.

You’ll be able to pick them up, along with our bread , and pull apart rolls down here in Indianola, or up in Des Moines at her lovely shop (located on SW 5th st just off of MLK blvd).

In addition to our bread, we will have a variety of your favorite baked goods (did someone say cinnamon rolls?!) available for preorder..

Salads of the week:

Beets, mandarins, goat cheese ball covered in nuts (pecans, walnuts, pistachios), cranberry pear & blood orange dressing, all over a bed of arugula & mixed greens.

Greek salad: tomatoes, cukes, red onion, pepperchini, olives, art hearts, feta, and Greek dressing.

When all the salads you made for the week disappear in one day, you make something different and fill the cooler again..

This is probably one of my all time favorite salads..

Arugula & spinach with roasted butternut squash (I throw a little cayenne on there so it tickles your throat), red onion, pomegranate seeds, sunflower seeds, goat cheese, and a garlic honey Dijon dressing. 🍴 🥗 ❤️

Even though it’s not exactly cool out, we have the AC cranked and we’re ready for fall.. so we made a cute little fall salad for you all this week!

Mixed greens, Kerry gold cheddar cheese, dried apple rings, dried cranberries, candied pecans, & sunflower seeds.

Dressing is a cranberry pear and blood orange (which is also available for purchase in big bottles at the shop!)
