September is National Su***de Prevention Month and our American Association of Psychiatric Pharmacists (AAPP) student chapter held a bake sale during lunch to raise awareness about su***de and provide information on this very serious issue. In 2020, su***de was the twelfth leading cause of death for Americans, according to the CDC. And for people ages 10-34, it was among the top three causes of death, the agency found. If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, help is available. Call 988, the 24/7 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.
