🎃 Sion celebrated our annual Halloween parade this morning - so fun!

💕 Pink Day at Sion! Today Sion showed off their pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 💕

📸 Throwback to the Fall Festival Photo Booth - we love seeing Sion families come together and have so much fun!

💕 In 2024, more than 360,000 people will be diagnosed with Breast Cancer. One in 8 women will develop Breast Cancer over the course of their lives. The likelihood is we all know someone who is fighting Breast Cancer or is a Breast Cancer survivor.

💜 To help raise awareness, students, families, faculty, and staff are invited to wear pink on Wednesday, October 30.

🎭 Yesterday Sion’s Kinder through 5th grade students enjoyed the Haberdasher Prince performance by the Lyric Opera of Kansas City - so fun!

💜 Sion 4th grade students are taking an Opera class weekly in cooperation with the Lyric Opera of KC and are writing an opera that will be performed this spring.

💜 Fifth grade students will learn next semester how to do backstage prep for the opera.

👏 And the winner of Sion's Hispanic Heritage Collaborative Poster Contest is...Jocelyn Zhang's Advisory Class, for their Frida Kahlo poster! They will have the chance to enjoy/destroy a pinata today - FUN!

🥳 Last week Sion celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with churros for students in the courtyard - so fun!

👏 Throwback to Sion's 8th grade putting on an awesome Fall Festival Pep Rally last week! It was so much fun and they included everyone - what a wonderful celebration!

💜 Special thanks to the .highschool Dance Team - for a wonderful welcome and performance.

💜 This morning Sion celebrated National Hispanic Heritage Month with a wax museum hosted by 6-8th graders. What a wonderful way to learn about Hispanic figures who have made an impact!

😍 In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, salsa teacher, Taylor Gatson, visited Sion last week to teach Salsa dancing lessons on the playground during lunchtime recess - so fun!

😎 Last Friday we were doing a lot of double takes at Sion! For "Freaky Friday," students and teachers dressed as each other - so fun!

🐴 Sion 8th graders did an amazing job today getting everyone excited for this year’s Fall Festival! We hope to see you all tomorrow for the fun!

⛳️ The Sion Scramble was a big success! We raised an all-time of $75k+ to support Sion students!
