Join the Political Science Department today for Dr. Valerie Hoekstra's lecture on gender equality in the high courts. Dr. Hoekstra's work will be of special interest while the Senate is considering President Trump's nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Dr. Hoekstra is an Associate Professor at Arizona State University and author of the book "Public Reaction to Supreme Court Decisions." This event is free and open the public.

A variety of scholarships are available to current College of Arts and Sciences students. Fill out the Continuing Scholarship Application by March 1, 2017, to be considered* for scholarship awards!
*The Continuing Application for Scholarships must be submitted by 11:59pm on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. Some scholarships require the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The CAS Scholarship Office has a full list of available scholarships and application criteria.

Dossier Magazine, a UMKC student-run magazine that is a creative outlet for artists on campus and in the KC community, is seeking submissions for the Spring 2017 Edition. All UMKC students are invited to contribute work for review and publication. Submit entries to [email protected].
