Hailed for his "perfect voice for Rossini" Alex Boyd has been seen at venues such as Sarasota Opera, Tulsa Opera, and the Pacific Opera Project besides many more!
Stacey has performed with the Martina Arroyo Young Artist Program, Portland Opera, Muses Project and many more and sung Mozart and bel canto repertoire widely.

The love interest to Rosina and patron and buddy of Figaro, the Count Almaviva, will be played by Chicago local, Max Hosmer! A stand-out in Bel canto repertoire, some of his favorite roles include Don Ramiro in 'La Cenerentola,' Count Almaviva in 'Il Barbiere di Siviglia,' (lucky for us!) and Ferrando in 'Così fan tutte.' You can hear Max, Edith, Heeseung and all the rest right here in Kenosha this summer! One of the most fun presences in is Rosina, the plucky, independent girl kept hidden away by her creepy uncle, Bartolo! Taking on that role is the exciting artist, Edith Grossman, Mezzo Soprano! Besides her considerable coloratura chops, Edith is also experienced in music theater and English language operas such as Jake Heggie and Gene Scheer’s 'If I Were You' which she performed with Merola Opera, and Ricky Ian Gordon and Lynn Nottage’s 'Intimate Apparel' which she workshopped with Lincoln Center Theater in NYC. We are so excited to announce one more Grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board! This will, in part, support our orchestra Side-By-Side program for local instrumental students! Thank you so much!
This project is supported in part by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts.
We try to reach everybody in the community, and that means people who can't always make it out to our events, too! We had such a great time singing for all the folks at Ridgewood Care Center in Racine! We sang music they might've known - a bit of opera, lots of golden-age music theater, and even some jazz! The smiles and fun were so rewarding! Thanks so much to our soprano, Janese Pentico, and Fellowship alumna Katiann Nelson for sharing your wonderful artistry!
We are so excited to announce we have received a Mini-Grant from Wisconsin Humanities! This support will help to bring in our guest speakers and clinicians for our Fellows and the public masterclass they'll give! Thank you so much!
Our project supports Wisconsin Humanities’ mission to strengthen the roots of community life through educational and cultural programs that inspire civic participation and individual imagination.
Premiering NOW on !!! Most people go to the opera to hear amazing singing, but once you get into your seat you'll definitely notice there's a lot going on visually, too! But what goes into creating a set? How did they start out? And how much has this all evolved over the years? Well those questions and much more will be answered as we dive into sets and settings in this episode of ! https://youtu.be/lCVDR7vQ-Ag
