With a rocky start and some hiccups throughout, Texas FFA State Convention 2024 is in the books! The officers had a wonderful time learning new skills to lead their chapter and bonded to create the strength to withstand a hurricane!
The last time for 2 officers and a first for 2!

District Leadership Camp for the officers is just the start! Excited for all that they will learn and implement this year!!!

Today we wrapped up our normal CDE contests with dairy cattle judging! I want to take a moment to congratulate all the students who put time and effort into studying, coming to practice, waking up extremely early and doing it all with smiles and laughter! For many of these students it was the first and others, their last. (Some both!) I was not the best this year with taking photos before or after contests but I did take some! Congratulations Eagles!!🦅

Our officers took a few friends over to I help celebrate Trimmier Elementary School in exceeding their goal for the United Way! Thank you for having us out to help celebrate this awesome achievement!!

Thank you to our Trimmier Counseling team for putting all of this together as well as these wonderful Ellison FFA members for providing the animals!

This week has been a long week for students, animals and of course all the people that work to organize the Bell County Youth Fair! I have multiple pictures of students in and out of the ring that will be posted later this evening. In the meantime here are a few.

Ethan Parks made auction with his market swine he is lot number 96! Please congratulate him on this wonderful opportunity! Please take a moment to congratulate all of the Killeen ISD students that also made auction!

BCYF exhibitors waiting for market classes to be called to weigh and classify. It’s been a long morning!
