We simply must thank everyone who made our 25th Annual 4-H Golf Classic Fundraiser a success!
One week ago today, we held our outing at Apple Greens Golf Course and had the largest turn out to date! We had 14 teams and 56 players. We wouldn't have made it to 25 without having some die-hard players return every year and even play in the rain like they did this year.
We also thank our volunteers and staff for all their hard work.

And we couldn't have done it without our wonderful sponsors!

Make sure you check yourself whenever you come in from the outdoors!

As we spend more time outside, protecting ourselves from pests, including ticks, is important. Infected ticks can cause Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses. The best was to protect ourselves is with prevention and awareness!
* Use EPA-registered Insect Repellents.
* Check body and clothing for ticks after being outdoors.
*Shower soon after being outdoors.
* Use tick prevention products for your pets as recommended by a veterinarian. ➡ https://www.cdc.gov/ticks/prevention

We would like to thank our 4-H Volunteers for gifting Ulster youth with positive and formative experiences. 4-H Club Volunteers, Presentations Evaluators, and Ag Literacy Volunteers donated hundreds of hours in recent months helping youth learn more about strawberries, learn public speaking skills, and by delivering high-quality educational programs to youth. Impacts range from the scale of 1400+ youth in 80 elementary classrooms in Ulster during our Agriculture Literacy Week, to the deep impacts created by long-term volunteer mentors who shape youth between 5-19 years old through the club program. Bravo!
