Do you prioritize this?!
Sacrifice 2-3 hours 1 day a week to regain 5-6 hours during your week!
Tips:
▪️Double your recipes on Monday nights so you have leftovers for a different night
▪️Use a crockpot meal 1-2x/week
▪️Take time one day a week to bulk prep
- shredded chicken
-ground meat into taco meat
-diced & baked potatoes
- large batch of rice and/or lentils
-sauté any fresh veggies or have steamable bags available
-make an egg bake to have breakfast for dinner
Food prepping is a great way to have pre-cooked healthy dinner options for you & your family so you can enjoy all the spring & summer evenings with less time in your kitchen!

Here’s what to do next:
Keeping focus around the mental mindset of any health journey, do you interpret “love” as a feeling or an action?! 🤔
Having the right mindset is needed when wanting to be successful with any goal.
Today I wanted to share the very first conversation that is had when a client starts working with me, so you can make sure you’re setting yourself up for success when taking action on your own health journey! 😊
Where do you fall?
Change isn’t comfortable. It’s not easy but with the support of others you can go from WANTING to READY to ACTION!
⚡️Being able to create your own personal drug is a pretty neat power to have! ⚡️

❓Have you ever taken a vacation and watched others do an activity that you wish you could have participated in but unfortunately your health held you back??
😕 It's an uncomfortable spot to be in. Go ahead and embrace those feeling within the current moment or even the past moments if you are reflecting back on a time this has happened.
✨ Now take those feelings/emotions/discomforts and make them your "why"! You now have set a goal for yourself to never have to be held back by your health. Yes, it's going to take baby steps to get there, it's going pull you out of your comfort zone, it's going to possible make you ask other for help along the way but the end result of you investing in your health so it doesn't continue to set you back will be worth it!
Start small:
👣 Walk 10 minutes per day
🥦 Add 1 cup of veggies to your day
💦 Drink water before and after you drink a soda
😴 Go to bed 20 minutes earlier
Make it consist & then add another.
Don't underestimate the power of growing small habits!
➡️Respect the Process, Give Grace, Be Proud!⬅️
Body image is a struggle no matter what others says, how fit you are, how great your skin routine is, etc. Reality is we all are EXTREMELY hard on ourselves. The past month there have been countless times I had wished I had visible abs, self-talked negatively about my legs, been frustrated with acne, etc.
It’s totally normal to have those thoughts!
The best way I’ve found to counteract these thoughts is reminding myself what I am able and capable of doing everyday. Reminding myself that life is a beautiful journey and visible abs, toner legs, less acne etc will only be temporary happiness because you will always want something more.
This body has blessed me with the ability to be able to do most anything & enjoy life:
✨Take backpacking trips
✨Hike in the beautiful mountain senary
✨Play volleyball, basketball, golf, snowboard, kayak, swim, & much more
✨Help friends & family move
✨Lift heavy weights & push myself every day!
Being able to wake up each day, do things you totally enjoy, having daily energy, and having a positive relationship with food is much more important in the long run than any extreme physic goals.

If you didn't gain a little weight over vacation... did you really enjoy it?! 🤔
Just as with many aspects of our life, you should be able to take some time away from your personal health & fitness goals without stressing!!
▪️I took 5 days away from the gym & enjoyed daily walks along the beach as my movement for the day.
▪️I didn't log any of my nutrition & instead was self aware of eating some good sources of protein throughout the day as well as prioritizing my greens.
▪️I drank sugary cocktails but also made sure to prioritize my water intake.
That doesn't mean there won't be times that you choose to go out & enjoy a loaded salad with water instead of fried food with a cocktail but this choice should not come in the form of guilt.
If you're currently in a place that you stress more about being out of your routine/typical food intake for a few days, unfortunately, this could be a sign you have an unhealthy relationship with your health & fitness journey.
Your journey is suppose to be fun! Don't let the excessive amount of new year, new you- lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks diet culture control your personal happiness to life.
Wanting to lose weight, gain muscle, become more tone.. whatever your personal goal is is great!
Keep that vision alive but know that to do any of the above it starts with having a healthy relationship with yourself and the foods you consume.
When you start to take care of yourself, you start to feel better, attract better, & look at yourself better.
Health begins with YOU!
The first month of 2022 is almost behind us, bring light to the intentions you started the year with.

▪️What has been getting in the way?
▪️Are your intentions actually helping you create a better relationship with yourself or just causing you uncomfortable stress?
I’d love to hear how the month has went for you.
People of all ages, especially young children, pick up on EVERY action we take during our day.

➡️ How we act about the slow driver in front of us
➡️ How we talk about the food we eat
➡️ How we decide to utilize an extra hour in our day
As we go into this week, I want to remind you that someone is always learning from you whether you are intentionally teaching them or not.

Fruits and vegetables often get their color from the different nutrients they are filled with all aiding to strength your immune system!
🍌🍠Yellow & Orange shades: Rich in beta carotene which our bodies convert to Vitamin A. Vitamin A is vital for healthy skin and good bones.
🥦Green shades: Rich in vitamins C, K, and E which are great for immune system support
🍇Blue & Purple shades: Rich in an anti-inflammatory compound called anthocyanins
🌶Red & Pink shades: Rich in antioxidants that are great for heart health
