Future Sailors, for the dinner tomorrow dress casual but nice. If you have a nice pair of slacks and nice top please wear that. Female recruits may wear appropriate skirts. If slacks are not an option for you and all you have are jeans, please make sure the jeans are appropriate. No holes or torn bottoms. Button-up shirt or blouse is recommended. Please help pass this on to your fellow recruits. Thank you. NRS Olympia.

Happy Martin Luther King day! Please take time out of your day to listen to a speech or two by MLK.

We have put great people in the NAVY!!! 01/20/2013

Our Future Sailors are now SAILORS!! More to come!!!!

01/11/2013

Hands down, joining the US NAVY was one of the better decisions I've ever made. I've been able to make great money, create friendships with bonds that are unbreakable and build a resume that will benefit me in the civilian job market! But the number one reason WHY I joined was to travel. I wanted to have stories to tell of far off places and of different cultures! I've been to Australia, Guam, Saipan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, S. Korea, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Hawaii and Russia!!! And because I chose to serve my country, I am about to go to school in Phoenix, Arizona using my G.I. BILL. So, I will be going to school with 100% of my tuition paid for! I will also be receiving a housing allowance which will pay for my rent while I go to school. How do you like them apples? :-) -DC1

Merry Christmas to all of our Future Sailors and Sailors!! Enjoy! -DC1
