Future Sailors Check In
Happy Martin Luther King day! Please take time out of your day to listen to a speech or two by MLK.
Our Future Sailors are now SAILORS!! More to come!!!!
Hands down, joining the US NAVY was one of the better decisions I've ever made. I've been able to make great money, create friendships with bonds that are unbreakable and build a resume that will benefit me in the civilian job market! But the number one reason WHY I joined was to travel. I wanted to have stories to tell of far off places and of different cultures! I've been to Australia, Guam, Saipan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, S. Korea, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Hawaii and Russia!!! And because I chose to serve my country, I am about to go to school in Phoenix, Arizona using my G.I. BILL. So, I will be going to school with 100% of my tuition paid for! I will also be receiving a housing allowance which will pay for my rent while I go to school. How do you like them apples? :-) -DC1
Merry Christmas to all of our Future Sailors and Sailors!! Enjoy! -DC1

To our Future Sailors, We will be meeting at the office at 0730. We will need some of you to carpool with other Future Sailors up to the event. You will need to be in your PT gear including running shoes. Wear your Navy T-shirt that you got in your DEP kit when you joined. This event is to go until 1300!! Bring your PMA (Positive Mental Attitude)! Let's get up there, kick some butt, then get out of there and come back home and enjoy the rest of our weekend. HOOYAH!!
Ok, so the word is is that Saturdays events start at 0900 which means we will need to be at the office not later than 0730. Part of this "Olympics" is knowing your 11 General Orders, Sailors Creed, Core Values and so-on. So bust out your S.T.A.R.T. Guide and be prepared so we can kick some butt!!! -DC2
