Drill Instructors
Drill instructors are held responsible for the welfare, behavior, and military education of the recruits assigned to them on a 24-hour basis throughout the period of initial training, of which the most well known is Basic Training or boot camp.
Educator's Workshop!
This year's workshop will be May 8 - 12 and July 31 - August 4!

Pope John Paul II High School Student Awarded 180,000 NROTC Marine Option Scholarship - ThurstonTalk Senior Luke Christensen from Pope John Paul II High School has been awarded the coveted $180,000 NROTC Marine Scholarship.

Opha May Johnson was the first woman to enlist in the Marine Corps. She joined the Marine Corps Reserves during WWI and we still honor her today as a true trailblazer for our Corps.
