We took some creative liberties with the exercise this week but I think the Future Marines had a great time. Works outs happen Wednesday evenings and Saturdays mornings

Pope John Paul II High School Student Awarded 180,000 NROTC Marine Option Scholarship - ThurstonTalk Senior Luke Christensen from Pope John Paul II High School has been awarded the coveted $180,000 NROTC Marine Scholarship.

"Filipinos must stand in solidarity with our community, and empower one another regardless of how we identify or the experiences that distinguish us," says Sgt. Saoit. "Because when it comes down to it, no matter what color our skin is, what shape our eyes are, or the language we speak, we all have one thing in common- we are Filipino."

This month we celebrate and recognize Asian American and Pacific Islander Americans for their contributions to history, culture, and the achievements of the United States.

Opha May Johnson was the first woman to enlist in the Marine Corps. She joined the Marine Corps Reserves during WWI and we still honor her today as a true trailblazer for our Corps.
