๐๐ With the summer cruise season here, passenger transportation has increased drastically in our area.
On May 17, UTC investigator Arber Demiri and
Washington State Patrol officer Katie Halnan, teamed up for a joint destination check inspection of passenger buses near Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
At the end of the day, the team completed 13 inspections, placing three buses and one driver out of service for serious safety violations. Good work team! ๐
๐ฆ Big news for City of Marysville WA - government! The UTC has approved over $70,000 for safety upgrades to improve pedestrian safety downtown. This project will install tamper-resistant fencing along Cedar Street to reduce trespassing and guide pedestrians to safer, signalized crossings.
