This isn't an April Fool's joke! OVE Bingo Night is just around the corner! Your PTA is deep in to the plans for the April 19th Bingo Night and we need your help!

Each grade will put together a basket for Bingo Night and we need parents to help by donating items for each basket. Either print the attached flyer so you can scan the QR code for the grade basket you want to donate to, or click on the links below. They'll take you to the Amazon Wishlist for each grade.

Hello OVE Eagles! Don’t forget about the OVE Coin Drive that starts tomorrow! OVE Student Council is raising money for a Sensory Room.

This will provide tools, support, and a calming space for students to access.

Be sure to bring your change to school during Conference Week and drop off the coins in the class buckets in front of the office or at the Book Fair!

The OVE PTA will feature DC "League of Super Pets" in the OVE gym on Friday, Mar 15th. Doors open at 6pm and the movie starts at 6:30pm.

Bring your blankets, pillows, and lawn chairs and sit back and enjoy. Pizza, nachos, hot dogs, soda, and candy will be available for purchase. EVERYTHING IS $1! We'll also have FREE popcorn and bottled water.

IMPORTANT: All students need a parent/guardian to attend with them.

MOVIE NIGHT CANCELLED. There will be no school today, Friday, January 12 due to hazardous road conditions. All after-school activities are cancelled, including tonight's PTA Movie Night featuring the The Little Mermaid.

Our Fun Run FUNdraiser is here! Help support our only fundraiser this year. Proceeds support things like field trips, additional playground equipment, clubs, music programs, and much more!

Here are some tips to help make our fundraiser a huge success:
● A donation of any amount is GREATLY APPRECIATED! (& rewards your child(ren) with the first prize.
● Sharing your child(ren)'s page on Social Media will significantly help spread the word.

Today the Olympic View Elementary staff is building our understanding of sensory systems, neurodivergence, and sensory supportive environments. We are grateful for Kate, Lauren, and Amelia at the Sensory Toolhouse for sharing their expertise.

I'm pretty sure that rainbow ends at Olympic View Elementary... We're even better than a pot of gold.

Fun day at recess. Officer Rose from the Thurston County Sheriff's Office, our school resource officer, stopped by to visit. And Scott, from the 555th Engineering Brigade stationed at JBLM, aka the Triple Nickel, got to test his skills against the very best in our GaGa Ball pit.

We've been missing the mural above our entry. We are grateful for Sandra Wallace's time and talent in painting a beautiful mural. Thanks for NTPS's facilities department for putting it up. It takes a community!

There is a lot of energy within OVE today. Caffeine helps a lot. THANKS Dutch Brothers for the delicious coffee and your ongoing support of schools.
