This past June, Damon and Nathan were both invited to separate Pride Receptions. Damon had the amazing chance to attend the White House’s Pride reception and Nathan to the Governors Pride Reception. Both had an amazing time and got to speak with so many different representatives and high ranking officials. We look forward to next year!

Our Chair and Vice Chair, Damon and Nathan got to meet the President, press secretary, Sen. Fetterman, and Dr Jill Biden at an event in Harrisburg. It was truly special to be able to talk with each one about re-electing Joe!

Today is World AIDs Day! Today is a key day in remembering all those living with AIDs and are affected by it. With over 38 million humans affected globally by this disease, it is key to acknowledge the work that has been done, and, more importantly, the work that needs to be done. We are looking forward to the vaccine trials for HIV, and the advancements taking place. So join us today in wearing a Red Ribbon as we reflect on the history of this virus and those living with it. Today is National Coming Out Day. To those out we applaud you for being courageous and your truest self, to those who have not come out we see you and support you through this journey. Coming out is one of the most challenging times for a q***r person and can be the most unstable, it is important we take today to reflect on all those who took the brave step of being public with their identity and support those who have yet to do it. We had an amazing night last night viewing EPAC’s The Prom and the talk back afterwards. It was great hearing what other LGBTQ+ groups are doing in lancaster and seeing an amazing show about inclusivity and q***r love! If you get a chance we highly recommend making a trip to see it before it closes!

EPAC has a special performance of The Prom on AUG 5th with a Community Talk Back after the show featuring prominent LGBTQ+ community groups, including Lancaster Pride, Lititz Chooses Love, The Lancaster LGBTQ+ Coalition, and the Keystone Business Alliance. These orgs are also sponsoring FREE TICKETS for the performance that night for anyone ages 12-to-college.
