This afternoon, our amazing volunteers sorted, counted, and labeled over 60,000 pieces of campaign literature to get them ready for our field team and volunteers this weekend!

Nikki Rivera, a public school teacher and Manheim Township School Board President, is learning the ropes at the Back to School event from Rep. Mike Sturla and Rep. Izzy Smith-Wade-El. Both endorsed Nikki Rivera as candidate for the 96th. She will continue Mike Sturla’s legacy with this great event that supports students in our communities. 📚✂️✏️

Yesterday, the committee people of the 96th voted on a candidate for nomination to replace Rep. Mike Sturla on the ballot after his withdrawal. After being nominated by the Mayor of East Petersburg, James Andrew Malone, and seconded by Mayor of Lancaster, Danene Sorace, the committee voted unanimously to recommend Manheim Township School Board President, Nikki Cunningham Rivera to the Pennsylvania Democratic Party as the new candidate.

Nikki Cunningham Rivera has Rep. Mike Sturla’s full support and we expect this to be formalized by the PA Democratic Party soon.
