Did you know? Autistic individuals often face unique challenges in intimate relationships, making them more vulnerable to "intimate partner violence and sexual assault." 😔 Despite this, they often receive less support than other populations. 😞

Recent studies show that a staggering 9 out of 10 autistic women have experienced sexual assault. This highlights the urgent need for interventions and proactive prevention strategies to protect those with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) from violence victimization, especially at younger ages. 💪💙

Let's work together to create a world where everyone feels safe and supported in their relationships. Spread the word and join the movement for autism awareness and support! 💙 🧩

🌍✨ Though March 22 has come and gone, the urgency of clean water and sanitation persists! Let's talk about why this matters, especially for our women and girls. 🌍✨

🚰 Access to clean water isn't just about quenching thirst; it's about safeguarding dignity and security, particularly for women and girls. Water insecurity amplifies the risks they face, from gender-based violence to sexual and physical assault. 🚰

👩‍❤️‍👨 Imagine walking miles just to fetch water, leaving oneself vulnerable to predators and dangers along the way. For countless women and girls worldwide, this is a daily reality. 👩‍❤️‍👨

💔 Furthermore, household water inadequacy often ignites intimate partner violence, as the pressure to fulfill domestic duties clashes with the inability to access sufficient water. It's a tragic cycle we must break. 💔

✊ Let's stand together in solidarity to ensure that every woman and girl can access clean water and sanitation, not just on World Water Day, but every single day. Because everyone deserves safety, dignity, and the chance to thrive. ✊

Buscamos personas que tengan experiencia trabajando en el área de violencia doméstica. Estamos reclutando personas que deseen ofrecer capacitaciones en línea. Preferiblemente serían personas que se desempeñen en el área de trabajo social, enfermería, profesión jurídica, salud pública, desarrollo infantil, psicología, psiquiatría o algo similar.

Las capacitaciones son para el personal que brinda servicios a sobrevivientes de violencia doméstica en nuestros refugios asociados, NO son para los víctimas de los refugios. Estas capacitaciones se brindarán durante todo el año según sea necesario.
