Here is a New Years Activity I would like to share.
Take some time by yourself or with friends for this burning bowl ritual.
This ritual is designed to help clear out unwanted memories and conditions from your life. Therefore, making space for new beginnings.
#1 What you need: A glass or metal bowl, candle, paper and pen
#2 Recall what it is that you need to release. What is no longer serving a purpose in your life? Problems, thoughts or things. Connect with that feeling. Let your heart open as it releases old wounds, negativity, or unhealthy thought patterns.
#3 Write it down on a piece of paper and fold it up.
#4 Burn the paper and drop it in the bowl.
#5 Recite the following:”Easily, gracefully, I release the past so that I can be free in this moment for all that is possible now. I open my heart to love and I am blessed with peace, joy and harmony.”
Allow yourself to experience whatever you are feeling - fear, anxiety, sadness, loss, gratitude. Let that feeling lift as the fire consumes your paper.
Letting go opens up to the power of inspiration, insight, wisdom and love.
Have a blessed New Year 2024!!!

In simple terms, EMDR therapy helps shuffle traumatic memories from the emotional part of the brain to the rational part. This way, traumatic experiences can be processed and understood in a healthier light, without causing excessive distress. Just think of it as a mental cha-cha-cha that helps individuals move forward with their lives.

🔗 Trauma Bonding vs True Love 🔗
💔 It's time to shed light on a serious topic: trauma bonding. Many confuse it with true love, but they're NOT the same! 💔
😢 Trauma bonding is when intense emotions arise from toxic relationships or abusive situations. It's like being trapped in a vicious cycle, mistaking pain for love. 😢
💖 True love, on the other hand, is built on trust, respect, and support. It's the real deal, where happiness flourishes and hearts bloom. 💖

The use of EMDR therapy for relationship trauma is an effective approach in breaking the cycle of harmful patterns. This therapeutic technique, which stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is widely recognized for its success in treating various types of trauma.
EMDR, which stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a psychotherapy approach used to help individuals process traumatic memories and experiences. It is effective in treating various mental health conditions, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety disorders, and depression.
One aspect of EMDR therapy is the exploration and processing of hidden or suppressed emotions related to traumatic experiences. Traumatic events can often evoke intense emotions that individuals may not have been able to fully process or express at the time of the event. These emotions can become "hidden" or buried deep within the individual's psyche, leading to ongoing distress and psychological symptoms.
During EMDR therapy, the therapist guides the client through a series of bilateral stimulation techniques, such as eye movements, hand taps, or auditory tones. These techniques help activate both hemispheres of the brain and facilitate the processing of traumatic memories. As the processing occurs, hidden emotions associated with the traumatic event often emerge.
The goal of EMDR therapy is to help individuals fully process these hidden emotions in a safe and supportive environment. By accessing and expressing these emotions, clients can release pent-up feelings and gain a greater understanding of their experiences. This process allows for healing and resolution of trauma-related symptoms.
In conclusion, EMDR therapy can effectively uncover and process hidden emotions related to traumatic experiences. By addressing these suppressed emotions, individuals can experience significant relief from their psychological symptoms and achieve long-lasting healing.
