What’s really cool about this video recorded last December in Guinea, is the number of children and especially girls in school uniforms. Before the AJA Foundation partnered with UNICEF to provide clean, safe water to this village, the girls spent their days collecting water in Jerry cans from far off locations. 💧

Sometimes when we hear a stat like "4 million people in rural Guinea don't have access to clean water," it's hard to really imagine what that might look like. This is Harriette, a wonderful woman who is overjoyed because her village now has a well and access to clean, safe water. Her granddaughters no longer spend their days fetching buckets of water for their family and are attending school. This is the power of water. Water is life.

AJA Foundation is proud to support the #1 philanthropic organization funding prostate cancer research globally. In May, the Prostate Cancer Foundation shared major news in the continued fight against metastatic prostate cancer —the breakthrough designation and FDA approval of Lynparza as a viable treatment option for a specific type of prostate cancer as well as a new medication, Rubraca.
These approvals are an important testament to the value of early foundational work which can bear multiple fruits in the form of new treatments, even many years later.
