🍎💪 Upgrade your heart health with simple swaps! Here are 4️⃣ easy changes you can make today:

➡️ Whole Grains Instead of Refined Grains: Swap out white bread, white rice, and regular pasta for whole grain options like whole wheat bread, brown rice, and whole grain pasta. Whole grains are rich in fiber, which can help lower cholesterol and improve heart health.
➡️ Healthy Fats Instead of Saturated and Trans Fats: Choose sources of healthy fats like avocados, nuts, seeds, and olive oil instead of saturated fats found in fatty meats and full-fat dairy products. Avoid trans fats found in processed and fried foods. Healthy fats can help lower bad cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of heart disease.
➡️ Water Instead of Sugary Drinks: Swap sugary beverages like soda, sweetened tea, and energy drinks for water. Drinking water helps to stay hydrated without adding extra calories or sugar to your diet. High sugar intake is linked to obesity, diabetes, and heart disease, so opting for water is a simple and effective way to support heart health.
➡️ Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Instead of Processed Snacks: Snack on fresh fruits and vegetables like apples, carrots, and bell peppers instead of processed snacks like chips and cookies. Fruits and vegetables are high in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that promote heart health and help lower the risk of cardiovascular disease.
