Exciting News! The Nevada Chapter of the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation has been awarded a grant from the SilverSummit Healthplan Rural Community Investment Program.

This grant will enable us to further support our mission to support underserved members of the bleeding disorders community in Northern Nevada.

We took Camp Dragonfly beyond a simple screening. 🏕️

Together, campers transformed feelings of inspiration into art on puzzle pieces, revealing our challenges and paths to overcome them. The magic happened when they assembled our Tree Puzzle, showing how our struggles are intertwined and how leaning on our community can help us rise above them.

Thank you to the Hemophilia Association of San Diego County and Nevada Chapter of the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation for allowing to join an unforgettable Teen River Camp experience at Environmental Traveling Companions and inspire these teens to live Beyond Their Blood.

Last week 10 teens from the Nevada Chapter and 8 from the Hemophilia Association of San Diego County spent time on the South Fork of the American River with Environmental Traveling Companions & GutMonkey. This experience provides teens with the tools they need to overcome the challenges presented to them by their disorder as well as connect with peers, gain leadership skills, test personal limits, and the opportunity to commune with nature.

Celebrate the end of summer and the start of a new school year! The Nevada Chapter of NHF will be hosting this fun Back-to-School event at John’s Incredible Pizza Company at the Boulevard Mall where we can enjoy arcade games and rides after a lunchtime pizza buffet.

All registered school-aged children will receive a free backpack and supplies for the new school year. Please RSVP by July 20th

El capítulo de Nevada de la NBDF será el anfitrión de este divertido evento de
regreso a clases en John's Incredible Pizza Company en el Boulevard Mall,
donde podremos disfrutar de juegos de arcade y atracciones después de un
buffet de pizza a la hora del almuerzo.

Todos los niños inscritos en edad escolar recibirán una mochila gratis y

And that's a wrap. 2nd Annual NV Chapter Family Camp. It was an amazing time and one for the books. We can't wait to share with you all of the camp pics and stories. Safe travels to all of our families and staff making their way home.
