CASA Volunteers are Making a Difference in Las Vegas. Consider Joining Us!
CASA volunteer advocates are sworn court officers trained to work one-on-one with these children and are best equipped to advocate for what the child needs, and to serve as trusted mentors and friends. CASA volunteers help make sure that the educational, medical and practical needs of these children are identified and met.

A new class of 19 CASA volunteers is trained-up and ready to speak for 40 abused and neglected children in foster care. The CASA program, which is part of the Family Division of the Eighth Judicial District Court, recruits, screens, trains and supports volunteers to represent the best interests of foster children in Clark County. Those who are interested can learn more at one of the many monthly online orientations by visiting www.casalasvegas.org and signing up to attend. Potential volunteers can also call the CASA program at 702-455-CASA for more information.

At a recent volunteer appreciation event held to show appreciation for all our local CASA volunteers, every volunteer from the recently sworn-in, to those serving more than 40 years, was recognized and thanked for their work to give a voice to abused and neglected children in the community.
