Happy (early) Halloween from Get Outdoors NV! Time to bring back our favorite post– PUMPKIN RECYCLING!
🎃 1 billion pounds of pumpkin waste make it into our landfill each year. Wondering what you can do with your leftover pumpkins this fall? Take them to either of these locations (page 3) and will use them to feed their pigs! Recycling ends on 11/4.
Las Vegas Livestock LLC asks that your pumpkins are free from wax, paint, and other debris before recycling.

Take a look at these incredible shots by (on IG) from our Bio Blitz event in September, showcasing our amazing pollinators! 🐝🌸
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at our Centennial Hills Park and Craig Ranch Regional Park Bio Blitz events! We gathered 544 observations from our native habitats, which will help us better understand if the gardens are truly nurturing spaces for native pollinator species. Together, we're building a future where pollinator gardens across southern Nevada thrive with life and purpose. 🌱🌻
