What an honor today

An international mix globetrotting gourmands, artists and Michelin-starred chefs came into ShangHai Taste today, ordered the entire menu enjoyed everything, and we all had a fantastic time.

A huge thank you to Michael Uzmann for setting this up. Me, Jimmy, and the entire staff are incredibly honored that ShangHai Taste was part of their Las Vegas experience.

Today we welcomed a wonderful group of global media during a Las Vegas Chinatown food tour.

These terrific people visited some favorites, Noodlehead , Shang Artisan Noodle as well as ShangHai Taste

At ShangHai Taste, we shared our xiao long bao, Sheng Jian bao as well as Jimmy Li's hometown favorite - sauteed cabbage and duck yolk

I was fortunate to have been able to speak with many of them in their native languages, but this day reiterated the fact, that good food is a universal language

We're debuting a brand new dish at our grand opening this Saturday

Chef Jimmy Li has developed a technique that makes the skins so incredibly crispy, we recommend eating them with the shrimp- but don't worry - they peel off effortlessly for those who prefer them skinless.

The sweetness off the sauce coats the shells, which are light and airy, while the shrimp inside stays perfectly sweet and succulent.

The Crispy Shrimp dish is exclusive to our Southwest location, so mark your calendars for June 8 and get ready to CRISP out with ShangHai Taste

Last week, we welcomed Nora Mauro and her son Gio Mauro to our table!

Signora Nora founded Nora's Italian Cuisine in '92, and Gio, a culinary champion who is the chef and founder of Monzu and Old School Pizza, joined us for a meal.

It was super exciting for us. Our staff loves Nora's and Gio's restaurants and was thrilled to know they love ShangHai Taste too!

Having them with us was an honor and awesome.

We had a great time chatting and into some delicious dishes. It was more than just a meal – a chance to connect over our shared love for good food and company
