The AthLab
The Athlab offers semi-private personal training, as well as group strength training classes and open gym memberships.
Strength training is not just about looking good on the outside — it’s about feeling good on the inside too!
Let’s break down some of the benefits 👇👇
1) Improves heart health: With regular training, overall workload on the heart decreases which lowers blood pressure🫀
2) Enhances mental health: Exercise reduces the level of stress hormones (adrenaline & cortisol). Lowering these level can lead to a more relaxed mindset😁
3) Improves bone health: When lifting weights your body releases bone-forming cells called osteoblast. These osteoblast increase bone density making you more resilient 🦴

Ill be honest, I could barely touch the net in high school. For the last three years I would be lucky if I grazed the rim with my fingertip on an amazing day. Then injured my knee. Absolutely zero progress.
Fast forward to two weeks ago starting a new program and I’m doing this.

Bre is the only client I had that requested workouts during the entire lockup and actually did them all. Dedication is her middle name. I just wish ‘pay-attention’ was her last name as the phrases ‘wait hold on’ ‘show me that again, I wasn’t watching’ and ‘How many am I doing?’ leave her mouth at a constant stream. Oh mind you, this is all going on while I’m still demonstrating the exercise and telling her how many to do. But she does get it eventually, and is pretty damn strong as you can see here 👆
