David Crockett State Park is 1,100 acres and includes many facilities and outdoor adventures. There are 7 Silver LEED Certified Vacation Cabins, 2 campgrounds, 7 Shelters that can be reserved for events, a restaurant, olympic size swimming pool, museum, ball fields, tennis courts, lake with paddle boats and fishing boats, hiking/biking trails, and Shoal Creek! We have history, nature, adventure and relaxtion all rolled into one!

Registration for our 2024 Twilight JR. Ranger Camp is now open! JR. Ranger Camp is open to kids 6-12, and will take place July 22-25 in the evening. Registration will remain open until July 14th.

This specialized wheelchair is designed to provide greater access to our beautiful trails and serene spots for those with mobility challenges, free of charge.

Exciting news! We are able to open Campground 1 early for next weekend. Sites are available in the system beginning Thursday, March 28 for the 2024 season. Camping season is here!

Although the daffodils have started to fade this spring they were a welcome site. Daffodils often mark places of the past with old homesites, farms and other signs of humans. They are considered to have been cultivated for hundreds of years, although it is an exotic plant it dots our spring landscape
