Yayyyy!!! The community has spoken!!! Congratulations LCS family, on a well-deserved acknowledgment!!!

LCS is the 2021 Best of County Winner for Best Private Preschool - Kindergarten! Thank you so much for your support! We always know that we have the best staff in the world, but we LOVE that they get to be recognized for the amazing ways they love these kids and families each day. The day your child starts at LCS, you become family. If you know, you know. 😉

Can I brag on my staff for a second y’all? Denton County is HUGE! There are hundreds of preschools around us. We have won or been nominated in the Top 3 for Best of Denton County since 2017 and are always up against great schools. Winning and being nominated for this award is a HUGE deal! As a non-profit, we don’t have the biggest budget. Most years we don’t even break even. We don’t have the fanciest building. But we have a staff with a whole lot of love for their students, families and Jesus. They show up for these kids each day and give them their best despite all the challenges they face in their own lives and the challenges of teaching during COVID. We are blessed to have each of them, and we wouldn’t want to walk this road with any other group of women (and Mr. Nacho 😉)

To our current staff and our past staff, thank you for pouring your heart into this school. To our families, thank you for trusting us with your most precious possessions. Garden Ridge Church, thank you for sharing your home with us and for supporting us through prayer and so many other ways.

We can't wait for Western Days this week! We will be missing our PTO and parent volunteers, but are so thankful for that PTO will still be able to provide the petting zoo! Wednesday and Thursday will be loud, messy and fun! Everything Western Days is supposed to be!

It's so hard to believe that this school year is almost over! It has been a fantastic year! Unfortunately, the end of the school year brings about change. The PTO will be losing 3 board members. We have one of those board spots filled, but we're still needing to fill 2 spots...President and Treasurer. If you are interested in helping and would like to know more about either of these positions, please contact Jennifer Doss Wylie. This is such a fun organization to be a part of and it supports an AMAZING school! We'd love for you to be a part of it!

If you submitted an order for the Little Lambs cookie dough/gourmet snacks fundraiser, the shipment will be delivered on Wednesday. Due to limited freezer space at the school, we are requesting that all orders be picked up during pickup (1 pm) outside the kitchen door. We will, weather permitting, set up tables outside in order to streamline the distribution process. We will have help on hand so we can help get your orders to your car.

Day 1 of Western Days is in the books! It was a huge success, and all the kids had a blast! Thank you, thank you to all the volunteers that took time out of their busy schedules to help with the stations.
Day 2 is tomorrow! Can't wait to see all of the kiddos in their western gear!

Western Days is this Tuesday and Wednesday! Be sure to dress your kiddos up in their western gear on their day to participate. A HUGE thanks to all the volunteers who have helped so far, and to those that will be helping this week. We could not do this without you all!
