DMS Parents, We Need Your Help! Free and Reduced Meal application - this must be done every year. If you have not done it, then your student will start getting charged for lunches. If you qualify for Free and Reduced Meals, it will also lower the iPad Fee to $15.00 instead of $30.00.

Welcome Back, Officer Heard.

We’re thrilled to welcome Officer Heard back to Durham Middle School as our dedicated School Resource Officer.

Officer Heard is more than just our go-to guy for safety and security – he’s a pizza enthusiast, football fan, and a champion of delivering donuts to brighten everyone’s day! 🍩 His favorite part of being an SRO is keeping our students safe and seeing their smiles each morning.

Thank you, Officer Heard, for all that you do to make Durham Middle a safe and positive place for our kids. We’re excited for another great school year with you on our team!

Let’s all give Officer Heard a warm welcome back and show our appreciation for his commitment and care.

LISD Family Notice:

Early this afternoon, in coordination with local law enforcement, Lewisville ISD Campuses in the City of Lewisville were placed in a Secure. During a secure, students remain or return inside the building, and all doors are locked. No visitors are allowed inside the building, but classes continue as normal.

This was done out of an abundance of caution while law enforcement officials investigated a situation in the Lewisville area. No threat was made against any of our schools. The district has no additional information about the situation, as it was a police matter unrelated to our schools.

Earlier in the day, an ambulance was dispatched to Lewisville High School - Killough to respond to a medical issue with a student. The two situations were unrelated.
