Huge thank you to all the families who brought sweets from around the world to pamper our staff and thank them for everything they do for our kids. Teacher appreciation week is in full swing! Thanks to our PTA volunteers too, who organize, coordinate and put together these wonderful events.

Ever wonder where unclaimed “lost and found” clothes go? The LISD PTAs manage the Dressed to Learn program in which all unclaimed clothes are washed, folded and distributed to other LISD students who can use the clothes. This year Independence donated 5 full bags. These little Eagles volunteered and did all the work to support others. 😎 Dressed to Learn

Spring Fling 2024 was a huge success! Thanks to the PTA, volunteers, teachers, sponsors and parents who helped make it happen. Special call out to Mark Bryant from Credit Union of Texas and TMobile for their fun tables and prizes! And big shout of out to our PTA leaders who organized and worked hard at the event.

Rain or shine see you at Spring Fling. It will be indoors.

UPDATE: Spring Fling will be moved indoors given the weather but it is still happening. See you there!

As a reminder, LISD has three bond propositions on the ballot this spring. Early voting is currently ongoing and runs through April 30, and election day is May 4. To learn more about what is on the ballot for LISD residents, visit LISDbond.com
