Tates Creek Choir Program

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Sibyl Gore for her donation of 12 rolls of paper towels, 320 pencils, a sight-singing resource book, a carols book, and stickers! Every classroom needs paper towels to be prepared for the every day. Pencils are not always found in technology blended learning classrooms, but we write in pencil in paper music and are grateful for pencils to use! We are so excited to increase our music literacy and continue (maybe expand!?) our caroling tradition and a little extrinsic motivation keeps our spirits high!

A huge THANK YOU to Nancy Fulghum for her purchase of 48 brand new 3-ring binders for TCHS Choirs! This single purchase will give a binder to all of our currently rostered students for the ‘22-‘23 school year! Mr. Fike updated the wishlist to allow for 12 more binders to be purchased to give us some extras to work with in the event we have some growth in participation, but this is an INCREDIBLE start for the program in our new building! 🥳🙏🏻

Tates Creek High School Choirs will be in a new school building next year and we want to be as prepared as possible to make music in our new space. Mr. Fike has created a list of resources found on Amazon that we would love to have coming into this upcoming year. Please consider supporting the students and this brand new classroom so we can put our resources towards sheet music, performance attire, and accompaniment services. It can be so much more fun to give when you know what you are giving rather than just an amount of money!
