Originally from Caguas, Puerto Rico, Rosario Ramirez graduated from Eloisa Pascual High School and went on to earn a BA in Social Work and an MA in Human Service Administration from Turabo University. Currently pursuing a master’s in clinical social work at Saint Louis University Rosario is dedicated to contributing to the community's well-being as a WayPoint Coordinator at Centro San Juan Diego. Her passion for community development aligns closely with the mission of United Way of the Bluegrass!

Meet Nick, his life took a sudden turn after a stroke left him homeless. Thanks to Simon House, he found shelter, support, and a path to recovery. Nick's journey from receiving aid to becoming a vocal advocate for the homeless highlights the power of community and compassion. Autumn was born and raised in Lexington, graduating from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor's in Marketing and Communications in 2020. She has been the Marketing and Engagement Coordinator at United Way of the Bluegrass since 2023. Her favorite part about working at UWBG has been seeing all of our programs being put into action.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from Midway University and is now pursuing her Master’s in Accountancy at Northern Kentucky University, set to graduate this fall. A young mother turned her life around after the loss of custody of her 4-year-old daughter. By attending parenting classes at The Nest - Center for Women, Children and Families, she gained the skills and perspective needed to reunite with her child. Greg's journey is a testament to the importance of accessible healthcare and the vital role that organizations like Mission Health Lexington play in saving lives. When Greg walked into the clinic, covered in unexplained bruises and sudden blisters, the team sprung into action. They provided critical diagnostic services that led to a life-saving leukemia diagnosis and immediate treatment. Today, Greg is at home, continuing his fight as an outpatient.
