Tiffany had a lot of trauma to work through. But therapy wasn't working.

Fortunately, she had a CASA volunteer, Dave, who took the time to get to know her. Dave realized she was not the type to sit and talk about her feelings.

Everyone else assigned to Tiffany's family court case was swamped, but Dave did some digging to find a solution. Dave recommended equine therapy sessions for Tiffany, and the judge thought it was good idea.

Tiffany recently began her new therapy sessions on a local farm. Her mental wounds are finally beginning to heal as she works with the horses!

(P.S. - we always change the names of our CASA kids and volunteers to protect the confidential nature of our family court cases)
