A group of students live and work in the Nebraska Animal Science Complex on East Campus, caring for the animals in the building. The immersive experience allows the students to contribute significantly to the work in the Department of Animal Science and grow in their knowledge of the field.
Frazier Kaelin, from Broken Bow, Nebraska, is a Nebraska Grassland Systems Systems major and part of the Krutsinger Beef Industry Scholars Program.
"I have met a lot of great people over on East Campus," Kaelin said.

“Fat is commonly fed to increase the energy density of the diet without increasing the starch content, which comes from grain,” Kobza said. “Reducing the starch content reduces the risk for digestive disorders.”
