My process begins with a sketchbook and a ebony pencil, starting with a line that I have no idea of where it is headed.
As I add more lines with one going this way and another going that way I start to see an idea coming to life and begin to picture in my head where this could possibly end up. Once the sketch is complete, I transfer my sketch to fine watercolor paper and begin to add watercolor dyes. My brush stays loose and from my point of view, coloring outside the lines is no longer considered breaking the rule
