📣 We want to join together as believers from around the region to enhance our faith, cultivate strong relationships, and encounter the Holy Spirit. We will gather as a unified community to worship the Lord and declare the victory we have in Christ. Because it is a tailgate, we will also have a time of "tailgating" in the parking lot with campfires, pickup trucks, music, and food.

🔥 During the evening, we will enhance our faith through powerful prayer and teaching, encounter the Holy Spirit through worship and ministry, and cultivate strong relationships through "tailgating" in the parking lot. We want to rally together as a region to activate our faith and partner our hearts with the move of God.

👉 The vision for our trip is to share the Lord of Christ through the sharing of the gospel and personal testimonies, through service and work projects, and through personal conversations and connections.

🔥🔥Ignite and Impact Youth Group ran the Sunday morning service this past week at Newport Church. The youth served in various roles such as greeting, leading worship, preaching 5-minute fires, audio, and visuals.

🔥🔥 EMT 2023 thoughts and reflections 🔥🔥

👉 For 8 days, the gospel forever marked the lives of over 130 students and leaders. During EMT 2023, Evangelistic Missions Training, our mission was simple: equip the youth of DOVE to share the gospel and live it out every day!!

📣 From outreaches and serving those in the community, like helping the City of Reading Police Dept with the National Night Out, to serving local ministries with a Night of Hope at Feet on the Street and closing the week The Send.

🔥 Here are some of the testimonies from students and leaders...

-Student: Sharing my testimonies and preaching in front of people, and also the SEND was the best night of my life and could really feel the presence of the Lord and didn’t want to leave

-Student: I loved talking with people and hearing their stories. I loved having the freedom to talk with them!

-Student: He showed me things I have never experienced before; he stretched my comfort zone, and I believe that that made me stronger in my faith.

-Leader: Every one of the kids we brought felt really encouraged, challenged, and championed. They loved their leaders and are super grateful to have come 😊

🔥🔥 It was so amazing to have a group from Oregon and the Corvallis Hive Communities with us at EMT this year!!

Such a passionate group of Jesus followers who are willing to go share and live the gospel!!

The Riza Experience

🥹 Of all things that transpired during EMT '23, 2 things that continue to come up are encountering Jesus and being filled with Holy Spirit.

✝️ Without those 2 things, I don't believe that anyone can be a vessel to be poured out to a lost and dying world!!

Words are hard to come, that can adequately express how I feel about EMT '23. Lives were changed, God was glorified and the City of Reading was impacted for the gospel.
