Rachel, Antonio, Abby Jo and Dave, our chaperone, attended YELLO in Marshall, MN. YELLO-Youth Exploring Leadership & Learning Outloud, was a 4 day event packed full of learning, service work, speakers and fun!

And County Fair Week comes to a close. Thank you to all of the volunteers, supporters, parents, 4-H members and families that helped make this great 4-H experience possible for everyone! May the friends we made and the laughter we shared show the heart of the Morrison County 4-H Program!

It's County Fair Week! Today is the final day to visit the Morrison County Fair and get a chance to see those amazing 4-H'ers and all of their projects! The 4-H and Open class Dairy Show starts at 9am. The Ambassador Promotion booth runs from 12-3pm. The 4-H Blue Ribbon Auction starts at 4pm. 4-H Premier Showmanship will be at 6:30pm. 4-H'ers you rock!!😀

It's County Fair Week! Today is packed with opportunities to see 4-H'ers with their animals showing off all of their hard work😀 Be sure to stop by and watch the 4-H Llama/Alpaca Show at 9am. The Sheep and Meat Goat Show starts at 10am. Rounding out the 4-H schedule for today will be the Beef and Swine Show at 3pm. Go 4-H'ers!!!

It's County Fair Week!! Today is the official start of the Morrison County Fair. There are tons of 4-H activities going on, be sure to check them out. 4-H & open class Dairy Goat Show starts at 8am. The 4-H Poultry Show starts at 11am, The 4-H Rabbit Show will start at 4pm. Hope to see you there, cheering on these awesome 4-H'ers that have been working hard with their animals to prepare them for their show experience😀

It's County Fair Week! 4-H Animal entry day is today! All of the 4-H animals will be coming in to be ready when the fair opens tomorrow for everyone to see! There will be shows and all sorts of animals from pigeons, alpacas, cattle, sheep, rabbits, swine, goats, horses, poultry and more. On Saturday the 4-H Blue Ribbon Auction will be held. A special thanks goes out to our many, many 4-H supporters!! Thank you for supporting not only the 4-H members involved but the whole 4-H program!!

A huge welcome goes out to Morrison County's new 4-H Summer Intern! Hey there! I'm Gracie, a senior at the University of Wisconsin- River Falls majoring in Agricultural Education with a minor in Agriculture Business. I grew up in Little Falls on a small hobby farm where my passion for agriculture began. In my free time, you can find me enjoying the outdoors, crafting, or playing softball. I am looking forward to learning more about 4-H this summer! Gracie starts Monday, May 20, stop in and say hi!

The May 15 animal ID deadline is right around the corner! It’s time to gather your information and enter your animals in 4-HOnline.

Youth in grades 3-6 are invited to join us as we explore nature through hands-on activities, outdoor recreation, and camp games. Join 4-H for a 3-day, 2-night adventure June 26-28, 2024, at the beautiful Long Lake Conservation Center in Palisade.

Congratulations to our Morrison County 4-H Project Bowl teams that competed at the State 4-H Project Bowl! The junior horse team, Talon, Josiah, Gabrielle and Teagan placed 6th in their division. The junior poultry team, Bridget, Maxx, Isaac and Vanessa placed 5th in their division. The senior poultry team, Marjory, Daniel, Antonio, Rachel and Marshall placed 3rd! Calling all youth in Grades K-2 to come explore 4-H, complete hands on projects, make new friends, and learn new skills! Join the NE 4-H Cloverbud Project Day on Saturday, April 13 from 10-11:30am to spring into gardening and create your very own recyled planter. It hardly seems like its time but 4-H Premium books are in the mail!! Your 4-H Premium Book will hold all of the information you need to register your child/children for the fair. If you do not receive your book by the end of the first week in April, please contact the Extension Office immediately. You can register which projects your child/children will be bringing to the fair online at fairentry.com. Be sure to select Morrison County 4-H, the Fair (open class) also uses fairentry.com so look carefully. You can also drop off a paper registration form at the Extension Office. The peeps have arrived!! The Cluck & Hatch 4-H program is coming to a close. After waiting 21 days, the chicks in the office have hatched. The program participants are just a couple days behind and should have chicks arriving this weekend! Special thanks to Anthony Adams for teaching the classes and our generous 4-H Alumni for providing the fertilized eggs!
