This week is Aortic Disease Awareness Week. Nearly 200,000 aortic aneurysms are diagnosed per year and around 15,000 per year die due to a ruptured aneurysm. If you have the risk factors below, you may be eligible for AAA ultrasound screening that can be done at UAMS.
