Humanitarianism sparked within when I was in grade school in Italy. Our school partnered with UNICEF’s “Pigotta Project” (rag doll project). I remember hand-sewing clothes and hair for rag dolls, that were then sent to children in developing countries. The responses we received back from the children brought me to the realization that helping others was always going to be my purpose.

20-something years later, and I have the opportunity to actively support humanitarian aid.

I am a trained volunteer with Children’s Disaster Services and I have been asked to deploy to assist families in Maui. I will be assigned to directly support children, while parents take time to rest and rebuild.

I am humbly asking for the community’s help to support me financially as I will be volunteering for three weeks. My departure date is Monday, 9/4 and return date is Monday, 9/25.

This week marks a year since I first launched my rebranded business (brace yourself for a storytime).

At the end of 2019, I was falling into the deepest funk of my life. I couldn’t see how my purpose would unfold with so many roadblocks due to my undocumented status.

Then, in 2021, I went through a really tough break-up with someone who I had grown with for ten years. Not only did I lose a best friend, I lost an entire family that I grew to have traditions with. But worst of all, I lost so much of myself trying to maintain a relationship that wasn’t allowing either of us to grow. I was left blind sided, then left to pick up the broken pieces by myself.

For months, I woke up with panic attacks, going through the days as numb as I possibly can. Until one day I wanted to stop the pain completely. I went as far as searching ways to un-alive myself, but then something within completely snapped me back to reality.

When the light within me finally started to flicker again, I started reaching out to those I trusted most. Then, as fate allowed it, the energy of Reiki aligned with me and so I started my healing journey.

Fast forward to last year, when I finally was done waiting around for the perfect moment, perfect business name (still haven’t found one lol), perfect place (started out of my parents’ beautiful backyard), and finally honored my rediscovered gifts by holding space for others.

A year later — and although the growth hasn’t been a walk in the park — I am always filled with gratitude. With every chance I get to just share parts of me that I have grown to heal, to love, and to rediscover.

We’re now in 2023, and yesterday I celebrated the GRAND OPENING of my first studio space, alongside my collective team at . 🥹😭

A lesson that has taken me further than I could’ve ever expected.

If you had told me three years ago that my high school relationship of 10yrs would’ve ended on bad terms, and it would’ve led me to living in my own Divine light, I would’ve said “in what world?!” THIS ONE SIS.

a lesson that has pushed me so far outside my comfort zone and opened up visions I never thought were possible for me.

Steering away from cultural and systemic expectations, and creating my own destined path of being a Light Worker. “GIRL, IN WHAT UNIVERSE?!” MINE SIS.

a lesson that continues to test my trust + faith + and connection to Source. At times, my ego retracts in fear, dimming my own light. And that’s okay. I am a Divine soul but I am also just a human.

The journey is not meant to be perfect. We’re meant to celebrate and share our HIGHS + learn lessons and feel connected with others in our LOWS.

So whatever vision is lighting up in your soul, SURRENDER to the journey and TRUST that it is turning out better than you could’ve ever imagine.

Be about it, embrace the struggles, and let go of the insecurities (internal + external). And as I always preach, intentionality is EVERYTHING.

When I first dove into my practice, I didn’t even think twice about how I was transforming. Maybe to the outside world it was giving “eat, pray, love” or “witchcraft vibes” (hmm yes pls, iykyk), or “hopping on the trend,” but internally everything was finally aligning. I have no doubts that I am exactly where I am meant to be + doing exactly what I’m called to do.

But here’s the thing about tapping into my purpose while still healing my wounds. THE PRESSURE. The pressure to prove my ego and old beliefs wrong. Although I knew and trusted in my connection to this rediscovered life path, my ego was still in survival mode.

Today I am practicing the joy of being. The joy of creating the life that is always leading towards my purpose, just by simply showing up for myself. I fill my days with the gratitude that I am able to experience every single wave of life.

So take a breath. You are okay. You are safe. You are already on your path and it continues to unfold for your Highest Good, in Divine timing.
