As the Lord calls on the folks of LA RPC to serve the kingdom, men ought to consider whether the Lord is raising them up to be ruling elders. This program will assist in discerning whether God is calling you to serve in this way.
Ruling Elder Program
The call to serve as a ruling elders is a high calling by the Triune God. RPTS is offering a Ruling Elder Program designed to encourage and train ruling elders in their devotion to Christ, love for His church, and their abilities to serve His people.
Men considering or preparing for eldership, as well as men already serving as elders will find benefit from intentional study such as this. This is NOT a Reformed Presbyterian only course. The content will be a blessing to all reformed leaning students.
Flexibly designed, participants work thorough five RPTS courses over a time span of one to five years, depending on what is going on in the student’s life. There are no examinations or papers, just the benefit of the lectures from RPTS faculty members.
You may sign up individually or as a group. Courses include Biblical Counseling, Interpretation of the Bible, Worship, along with the choice of five other elective courses. There is a special preaching option as well.

100 years ago today (January 25, 1921), our founding pastor, Rev. PJ McDonald, was released from his pastoral duties to pursue another call.
The command to not steal has impications in many aspects of life. The Apostle Paul says, "Give no opportunity to the devil. Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with anyone in need." Ephesians 4:27-28
